Joining the team at Dewitt Designer Kitchens is a culmination of Randy Blom's professional journey. After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Kansas, Randy began working with an Architect/Landscape Architect in San Diego, California. Randy says "I enjoy bringing the outside in and the inside out."

Soon after, Randy worked at ABC-TV studios remodeling their offices and studio spaces. Then, a chance encounter brought Randy into the world of Television Art Direction and Set Decoration. Not one to travel the straight and narrow, Randy jumped right in and was soon working as a designer on major television shows including several Academy Awards, Emmy Awards and Tony Awards productions.

After thirteen years in design garnering Randy four Emmy Nominations for Outstanding Art Direction, he took yet another detour by joining the Special Events team at the Walt Disney Studios designing live theater shows, film premieres and special events both locally and internationally.

Never one to be confined to a specific design discipline, Randy veered over to Landscape design working with a San Francisco firm specializing in custom residential landscape and garden designer in the Bay area as well as Sonoma and Napa Valleys. When Randy received the call from Elina Katsioula to see if he would join her team at Dewitt Designer Kitchens, Randy packed up and moved to Pasadena. "The opportunity to work with Elina, after our years together in the television industry, was a completion of my design cycle. Somehow, I always seem to return to my roots in architecture and home environments?"
